Join the club at the March meeting where our President Jay Weber will reflect on some of the history of our club (which, by the way, is the olders scuba club in Texas!). In addition to general history, the club will take an opportunity to highlight the significant impact of Richard Merritt. Mr. Merritt, who recently passed away, was one of the founding members of our club, a proficient instructor in the club, and help design/build the “Columbia” compressor - a portable compressor that we used on many lake outings and training sessions at the YMCA near downtown Dallas.
Richard’s son, Darrell Merritt, will be our honored guest and will share his memories of diving with his dad. This is sure to be an insteresting meeting so plan now to attend!
