Members and guests are invited to attend the September Monthly Club Meeting that the Outback Steakhouse in Plano, TX. Folks tend to arrive around 6pm to order dinner, to swap sea stories from their favorite dive trips, and to discuss upcoming trips. Around 7pm our President will call the meeting to order and have a short business meeting. After the business is taken care of our friends from the Coral Reef Restoration group will provide an interesting presentation on their work in Florida and on the Great Barrier Reef. As we know these areas (and many more) are experiencing coral beaching due to extremely warm waters, in good part due to climate change. The CRF team works tirelessly to grow and plant new corals in hopes of restoring the habitats for all the ocean creatures.
