This month we will return to the normal meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at the Outback Steakhouse in Plano, TX. Club members and guests normally arrive ~6pm for dinner and dive-related conversations. The meeting officially begins at 7pm with a short business update from our President. After that our featured speaker, Windal Adams, will share a short documentry entitled “If Only…” which reviews the circumstances surrounding the death of Brian Bugge’s unfortunate death while diving with a rebreather. The documentary reviews the potential errors that lead to Brian’s death and discusses many aspects of the human element involved in preparing for activities that might be considered “high risk”. After the video Windal will host a question and answer session to review and discuss diving safety.
Windal Adams is currently an Instructor Trainer at Scuba Adventures in Plano. He got certified in 1988 at Richland College and work in several of the dive shops in the Dallas area. He became a PADI Instructor in 1992, a TDI Instructor in 2003 and a SDI / TDI Instructor Trainer last December.
