Needing a break from the stress of the Covid-centric world? Then join club members and guests as we explore the underwater world at our monthly club meeting (virtually, of course). This month our Program Chair, Karl Renner, has lined up an exciting and informative presentation from the Coral Reef Restoration Foundation. Elizabeth Perez will present a talk about the decline of coral reefs and the negative impact on the underwater ecosystem that this brings. An overview of the CRF will be provided and details of their efforts to maintain and restore our coral reefs will be covered. In addition, Ms. Perez will also discuss how public involvement can greatly extend the CRF’s efforts and preserving our underwater environments.
Note: prior to the presentation there will be a short business meeting where we will discuss resuming in-person meetings - all opinions are welcome!
